Sensex up 90 pts at 15,634 in late morning trade

The BSE benchmark Sensex, which recovered by 75 points in opening trade today, stood at 90 points in the positive territory at 15,634 in late morning deals.After losing over 400 points in the past three sessions, the 30-share Sensex recovered by 75 points, or 0.48 per cent, in the first five minutes of trade today.Buying activity was focused on realty, auto and banking stocks, helping the Sensex trade in positive terrain.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was trading 30 points in the green at 4,676.Meanwhile, in the Asia region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose by 0.39 per cent and Japan's Nikkei by 0.32 per cent in morning trade today.
