Sensex up 89 points to 19,412 in noon deals

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange advanced by 89 points maintaining its earlier gains in afternoon deals today on all-round buying from operators on the back of firm Asian cues. The 30 share index which gained 87 points in its previous session, rose 89 points to 19,412 when reports last came in.Similarly, the 50 share index Nifty moved up by 27 points to 5,896 a short while ago. Key benchmark indices in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea rose by 0.05 to 0.63 per cent. Singapore's Straits Times fell by 0.14 per cent.
