The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 88 points, or 0.5 percent, to close at 18,629, on value buying in blue-chips, amid rising European markets, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 19 points, or 0.3 percent, to 5,609.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore ended mixed.
