The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading 79 points up at 18,711 a short while ago. Earlier Sensex gained 77 points in its opening session today on the back of covering-up of short positions by participants in view of monthly expiry in the derivatives segment.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange 19 points up to 5,683.
