The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange, which recovered by over 70 points in early trade today, stood at 76 points in the positive territory at 15,959 in late morning deals, when reports last came in.After losing 57 points in the previous session, the 30-share index had recovered by 71 points in opening trade, on selective buying by funds and retail investors.The wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was trading up by 20 points at 4,770.Meanwhile, among other Asian indices, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose by 0.14 per cent but Japan's Nikkei shed 0.52 per cent in morning trade today. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.17 per cent higher yesterday.
