Snapping two sessions of losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange opened 69 points, or 0.4 per cent higher, at 18.248 this morning on short-covering by speculators, ahead of the expiry of the monthly derivative contracts. Remaining firm, the Sensex stood 58 points or 0.3 per cent in the green at 18,238, a short while ago.But other Asian markets in China, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea were all modestly lower.
