Sensex up 44 pts in noon trade

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 67 points, or 0.3 per cent, to 20,106 in early trade, today, amid some good third quarter corporate results. Later, the Sensex pared some of its initial gains, to stand 44 points, or 0.2 percent in the green, at 20,083, in afternoon deals, a short while ago. The 30-share Sensex has gained over 220 points in the previous two trading sessions.But stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia and Taiwan had lost between 0.1 percent and 1 percent, today.
