Sensex at the Bombay stock exchange climbed 416 points at 18,239 in afternoon trade a short while ago. It rose 208 points in opening trade as investors embarked on a buying spree. Similarly the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index moved up by 133 points, to 5466 points.
