The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 167 points, to 16,330, in early trade, on day, amid positive global cues.Gaining further, the Sensex stood 355 points, or 2.2 percent in the green, at 16,519, a short while ago.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan rose between 0.3 percent and 2.1 percent, on Wednesday.Wall Street had closed 1.1 per cent higher, overnight, on upbeat US earnings and economic data.
