Snapping four days of losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose a modest 30 points, or 0.2 percent, to close at 19,704, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 17 points, or 0.3 percent, to 5,984.Stock markets in Japan, China and South Korea climbed between 0.2 percent and 0.9 percent.
