Snapping a 3 day loosing streak, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange today gained 267 points or 1.4 percent to close at 19,509, on the back of better than expected industrial growth numbers. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also recovered 91 points, or 1.6 per cent, to finish at 5,857.The key benchmark indices in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore slipped between 0.1 percent and and 0.8 percent. However China's Shanghai composite rose 1 percent.
