The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 153 points, or 0.8 percent, to close at a one-month high of 19,170, today, on continued buying by funds amid easing inflation and falling global commodity prices. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 51 points, or 0.9 percent, to 5,834. Stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore gained between 0.1 percent and 1.9 percent.
