The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 110 points, or 0.7 per cent, to 16,712, in opening trade, on Tuesday morning, on fresh capital inflows by investors, amid rising global markets. Remaining firm, the Sensex stood 102 points, or 0.6 percent in the green, at 16,703, a short while ago.Stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan were up by between 0.7 percent and 1.9 percent, today, on increasing signs that the US and global economies are recovering. Over on Wall Street, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average had ended 0.8 per cent higher, overnight.
