The BSE benchmark Sensex which lost nearly 195 points in opening trade today, fell further by nearly 228 points during noon trade. The 30-share index, which had lost 207 points in the previous session, fell further by 228 points, or 1.31 per cent, to 17,134 during noon.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index declined by nearly 59 points, or 1.13 per cent, to nearly 5,162.
