The BSE benchmark Sensex which lost nearly 195 points in opening trade today, fell further by 220 points during afternoon trade. The 30-share index, which had lost 207 points in the previous session, fell further by 220 points, or 1.27 per cent, to 17,142.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index declined by nearly 64 points, or 1.22 per cent, to nearly 5,157.
