The Sensex that opened nearly 129 points higher in the morning, later paired its early gains to trade 55 points higher in afternoon trade. The 30 share index was trading 41 points up at 17920 a short while ago. Similarly the NIFTY which crossed the psychological 5400 mark immediately in the morning stood 15 points up at 5389 points
