The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 155 points, or 0.9 per cent, to trade below the 18,000 level, at 17,915, in opening deals, this morning, on sustained selling by funds, in line with weak global markets. But the Sensex has since rebounded, and stood 22 points, or 0.1 percent in the green, at 18,093, a short while ago. Other Asian markets in Japan, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and South Korea were down by between 0.5 percent and 2 percent, on continuing doubts about global economic recovery.
