Surrendering all its initial gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange stood 33 points, or 0.2 percent in negative territory, at 17,050 in afternoon deals, a short while ago.Earlier in the morning, however, the Sensex had opened 81 points, or 0.5 per cent higher, at 17,164, on continued buying by investors, and in line with rising regional bourses.Stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan were up by between 0.9 percent and 1.5 percent.
