The BSE benchmark Sensex, which opened 47 points in the red today, stood at 29 points in the negative territory at 16,747 points, when reports last came in.After losing 793 points over the past five sessions, the 30-share Sensex, fell further by 47 points, or 0.28 per cent, to 16,729 in the first few minutes of trade today, with capital goods, auto and IT stocks leading the fall.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was trading 14 points in the red at 5,016.
