The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading almost flat in late morning deals. The 30-share barometer, which fell by over 17 points in opening trade today, was trading 3 points in the negative territory at 19,498, when reports last came in.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange index was trading just 1 point in the red at 5,897.In the Asian region, Japan's Nikkei Index was down 0.11 per cent, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index shed 0.15 per cent in early trade today.
