Sensex trading flat in afternoon trade

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 69 points, or 0.4 percent, to 17,282 in early trade, today, on fresh buying by funds and retail investors, ahead of inflation data.But later, the Sensex gave up all its initial gains, to stand 11 points in negative territory, at 17,203 in afternoon deals, a short while ago.The 30-share Sensex had lost over 400 points in the last three trading sessions.Other regional stock markets in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, South Korea and Singapore were trading mixed.
