The BSE benchmark Sensex was trading 43 points down at 17,087 points a short while ago. It rose by over 105 points in early trade today on buying by funds and retail investors at existing lower levels amid a firming trend in Asian markets. The 30-share barometer lost about 76 points in the previous two sessions.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty was also trading 11 points down at 5,179 points a shortwhile ago. It moved up by nearly 34 points in the early trade today .
