Losing initial gains, the Sensex was trading 180 points down at 20,685 points a shortwhile ago. The 30-share index rose over 40 points in early trade. The Sensex had shed 29 points in yesterday's volatile session.The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty was also trading 56 points down at 6,147 points a shortwhile ago.
