The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex which fell by over 155 points in opening trade today recovered slightly and was trading 86 points down at 18,351 points a shortwhile ago. National Stock Exchange Nifty was also trading 30 points down at 5,489. It opened 52 points down at 5,467 points. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was down by 1.52 per cent and Japan's Nikkei lost 1.03 per cent in early trade today.
