Benchmark Domestic indices on Monday plunged around two per cent amid weak global share markets. 

The key stocks fell amid concerns of investors over the outcome of state elections, weakening rupee, crude oil price rise and escalation in US-China trade tensions.

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange tumbled 714 points to close below 35,000 mark at 34,960. 

The Nifty at National Stock Exchange declined 205 points to 10,488.
