The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 314 points to 20,729 in afternoon trade. Earlier 30-share index, rose by 118 points in early trade today on fresh buying by funds amid a firming trend on other Asian bourses. The Nifty at the National Security Exchange also moved up by 93 points to 6,139.
