The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 60 points, or 0.3 percent, to 17,413, in early trade, today, on profit-booking by funds and retail investors. But the Sensex has since rebounded strongly, and stood 261 points, or 1.5 percent in the green, at 17,734, a short while ago. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan were down by between 0.1 percent, and 1 percent.
