Snapping two days of losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 147 points, or 0.8 percent, to 18,654, on Tuesday, boosted by value-buying in blue-chips, and firm European bourses. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange advanced 47 points, or 0.8 percent, to 5,614.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Singapore ended mixed.
