The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose by 87 points to 19, 660 in late morning deals today. Earlier sensex gained 39 points, on fresh buying by funds as well as retail investors in select stocks. The 30-share index had lost 160 points in the previous session. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange index up by 27 points to 5,971.
