The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rallied 226 points, or 1.3 percent, to close at a 4-month high of 17,618, today, after Eurozone finance ministers agreed on a deal to nurse ailing Spanish banks back to health. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange jumped 70 points, or 1.3 percent, to 5,345. But stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, and South Korea posted modest losses of between 0.2 percent and 0.4 percent.
