Snapping two days of losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose a modest 22 points, or 0.1 percent, to 17,244, on selective buying at lower levels, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 9 points, or 0.2 percent, to 5,244.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea ended mixed.
