Rising for the fourth straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange jumped 188 points, or 1 percent, to cross the 19,000 level for the first time in 15 months, and close at 19,058, today, on hopes of further economic reforms by the government. The Nifty climbed 56 points, or 1 percent, to a 17-month high of 5,788.Stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore gained between 0.1 percent and 0.9 percent.
