Domestic stocks, extending the last week's record-breaking rally, today rose for seventh straight session to new lifetime highs. 

Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange and Nifty at National Stock Exchange jumped up even as all major Asian and European share markets logged losses. 

Sensex gained 158 points to 37,494 while Nifty was up 41 points at 11,320.

 Both stocks gained around 0.4 per cent.
