Snapping five straight days of losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock exchange rose 112 points to 16,328, on renewed buying by funds, amid positive European markets, today. The Sensex had lost nearly 700 points in the previous five trading sessions. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 35 points to 4,943. Key stock indices in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea ended mixed.
