Snapping three days of losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange on Wednesday rose 110 points, or 0.7 percent, to 16,841, on bargain-hunting by investors. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 21 points, or 0.4 percent, to 5,057. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea ended mixed.
