Trimming its initial gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange stood 16 points, or 0.1 percent in positive territory, at 21,181 in afternoon trade, a short while ago. Earlier, in opening deals, the Sensex had gained 129 points, or 0.6 percent, to hit a record high of 21,294, on sustained foreign fund inflows. The Sensex has rallied over 590 points in the previous three trading sessions.Stock markets in Japan, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea were trading mixed, today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had dropped 0.5 percent, yesterday.
