The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange spurted 355 points, or 1.1 percent, to close at a fresh record high of 31,716, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange surged 105 points, or 1.1. percent, to also hit a new all-time closing peak of 9,771.
