Snapping a six session losing streak, the BSE benchmark Sensex gained 118 points, a short while ago. Earlier, the 30-share barometer in its opening trade had lost 93 points, hitting 17-week lows in view of buying in capital goods, IT and banking counters despite selling in auto and realty counters. The Sensex after recovering 118 points was trading at 16,333.66 when reports last came in.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty moved up by 30 points to 4,937.
