Snapping a six-session losing streak, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange surged 338 points, or 1.8 percent, to 19,534, on Wednesday, despite disappointing industrial growth numbers. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange jumped 109 points, or 1.9 percent, to 5,863.
