At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange turned quite weak in afternoon trade, and had dropped 256 points, to 25,608 a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had fallen 69 points.Similarly, the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange had lost 76 points, to 7,762 a short while ago. At the forex market, the rupee had weakened 9 paise, to 66.12 against the dollar in late morning deals.
