Sensex slumps 337point, Nifty fell 102 points

Tracking weak global markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange slumped 337 points, or 2 percent, to 16,781, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange slid 102 points, or 2percent, to 5,034. Markets fell across the globe, with key indices in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore slipping between 1.6 percent and 3.8 percent, on disappointing US non-farms payroll data, and concerns over Hungary's debt problems.
