Sensex slips from record

Stock markets came off their peak and turned weak today after three back-to-back sessions of gains. The benchmark Sensex lost 32 points to 30,101 in view of April derivatives expiry.The NSE Nifty was lower by 10 points to 9,342.Among other Asian markets, Hong Kong's Hang Seng shed 0.16 per cent while Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.68 per cent in early trade. Japan's Nikkei too was down 0.24 per cent.The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.10 per centlower yesterday.
