The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex on Wednesday gained nearly 99 points in early trade.Later the sensex lost its early gains and was trading flat at 16026. Similarly the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty initially gained 34 points but later was trading at 4788, down by 4 points.The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 1.52 per cent higher in yesterday's trade, while Japan's Nikkei was up almost one per cent in the morning trade today.
