Sensex slips 67 points in afternoon trade

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange stood 67 points, or 0.4 percent in the red, at 18,738, in afternoon deals, amid volatile trade, a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had opened 66 points, or 0.4 per cent in negative territory, at 18,739, after IT major, Infosys' second quarter results failed to cheer the market. But key stock indices in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore and South Korea were up by between 0.1 percent and 0.5 percnet, today.
