Erasing all its early gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended 193 points, or 1.2 percent lower, at 16,163, on profit booking, after another choppy day's trade, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange lost 70 points, or 1.4 percent, to 4,830.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea ended mixed.
