Falling for the second straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange dropped 224 points, or 1.3 per cent, to 17,481, on Tuesday, as global markets declined on fresh worries about the euro-zone debt crisis. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange shed 69 points, or 1.3 per cent, to 5,258. Stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore lost between 1.7 percent and 2.5 percent.
