Erasing its opening gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange shed 16 points, to trade at 17,734, in afternoon trade, a short while ago. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 7 points, or 0.1 percent, to 5,352.Other Asian markets, Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore were trading mixed in intra-day trade, today.
