Recovering from initial losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange stood a modest 17 points, or 0.1 percent in positive territory, at 18,418 in volatile trade, a short while ago.Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had fallen 72 points, or 0.4 percent, to 18,329, on selling by funds, and profit-booking by speculators ahead of first quarter domestic GDP data.Stock markets in China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore and Taiwan had gained between 0.1 percent and 0.9 percent, today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had ended 0.1 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
