The benchmark BSE Sensex rose by 70 points, to 27,328 in late morning trade today. Continuing the upward trend NSE, Nifty was also trading 16 points up at 8433 a shortwhile ago. Rupee plunged by 17 paise to 68.25 against the US dollar in early trade today.The rupee had ended lower by 13 paise at 68.08 yesterday.
