The benchmark BSE Sensex rose 173 points to 33,533 in morning session today. NSE Nifty also gained 52 points to 10,350 a short while ago.Meanwhile, the rupee too witnessed a rising trend, rising 8 paise to 65.03 against the dollar. Yesterday, the rupee had retreated from its near one-week high and ended lower by 10 paise at 65.11 in a restricted trade amid stray dollar demand.
